Stones, pebbles and sand
There is a teacher was trying to convey the real life through a practical example of his students. When the class began, he took a large empty glass and filled it to the brim with big stones, then he asked his students if the jar was full. Of course she agreed.
The teacher now picked up a box of pebbles, poured them into the jar and shook it slightly. The pebbles rolled into the interstices of course the larger stones.
