Rich And Poor

inspire me

This is one of my favorite inspirational story. I first discovered this story while I was still in high school (circa 2004). An amazing thing to be able to share it with the readers here.

One day, a man who came from a wealthy family took his son on a trip around the country with the aim of showing the child how poor the lives of the people around them. They spent a few days at a farmhouse which is considered the father owned a very poor family.

After returning from their trip, the man asked his son:

"How was the trip my son?".

"The ride was very great, dad".

"Did you see how poor the people live ?," The man asked.

"O, of course," replied his son.

"Now tell me, what did you learn from our trip," asked the man.

The son answered: I saw that we have one dog, but they have four dogs.

We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden, but they have a creek that has no end.

We have imported lanterns in our garden, but they have the stars at night.

Our patio reaches to the front yard and patio they have the whole horizon.

We have a narrow land to stay, but they had a field as far as eye can see.

The best collection of inspiring stories, We have servants who serve us, but they serve each other.

We buy our food, but they plant their own wheat.

We have walls around our property to protect us, while they have friends to protect them.

The man only silence, he heard what his son told.

Then his son added the words: "Father, thank you for showing me how poor we are."

The lessons we can learn from the inspiring story above:
Rich and Poor depend on our own perception, not on the judgment of others. Another person who looks poor for us, perhaps including the rich according to others, or even their own. The story above encourages us to always see from another perspective ...
